My America Wish List

America Wish List

Next Saturday my boyfriend and I are heading over to America for 12 days. We're doing a tour starting off in LA and finishing in San Francisco, visiting Las Vegas and Yosemite National park on the way. Excited really doesn't explain how I'm feeling right now.. A week to go and I can hardly contain myself!

I thought it would be nice for me to give you a bit of an insight into the shopping list I'm planning on taking with me; there's a few things that I've had my eye on for a while now and I've been saving my money so I can get them in America as opposed to here. Some are products that are mainly available in the US and others are just cheaper over there! This holiday isn't really going to centre too much around shopping, it's more of an experience seeing as we're camping for a bit and trying to cram in as much site seeing as possible... But a girls gotta shop right?

I saw missglamorazzi using this a while ago, and what with my oily skin, I thought it was a no brainer really. I've heard great things and seeing as Tarte is an American brand I thought I'd hold off until I was there. I can't wait to get my hands on this!

There's a few I've been eyeing up; Douceur and Orgasm are my main two but I'm sure they'll be others! I've never really bothered with high end brands but I've heard such great things about the Nars blushers I figured it was about time I invested.

I found myself on the Makeup Forever website a while back after watching aYouTube video of someone using their HD foundation. She'd also bought this mascara and after reading some reviews, I decided I had to give it a go. I've just come to the end of the current fave mascara; the L'Oreal Telescopic but I like to switch things up a bit. I'll let you know what I think!

As you may know by now, I have a YouTube channel and I've been looking for a really good photo ready foundation that gives flawless coverage for filming. I've been told this is the one so I decided to add it to the old shopping list too!

This purchase is actually for my mum. She had some facial surgery a year or so ago and has been left with some scarring; I'm so used to it now I can't even notice it but I know it's something she feel quite self-conscious about. I found this cover up on their website while I was having a good snoop around and it says it's been formulated to cover up scarring. I thought I'd grab some so she can give it a try!

I've heard SUCH good things about this. In fact I was actually looking at reviews on this on my lunch break today! It's supposed to give your face that "flawless" finish and provide the perfect glowing complexion. There's a lot of science behind this but all I'm hearing is "gorgeous glowing face". SOLD!

I was going to grab a Naked palette or two but I'm pretty chuffed with my Makeup Revolution dupes at the moment, so I figured it'd be nice to go for something a little different. I swatched this palette in Boots a few weeks ago and I loved the colours! I'll probably bring back a Naked palette as well because... Well. It's nice to have a selection!

This certainly isn't a makeup related purchase but I'm desperate for some fun coloured Converse! It's either going to be pink or purple I think. Unless I see another colour that catches my eye... Ideas welcome!

So there's my shopping list as it stands at the moment! I think we should take a little sweap stake on how much more I actually buy! Haha!

If you have any other ideas of things for me to buy in America let me know!

Lots of Love,
DML
