How to Always Look Your Best on a Budget

IMG_5118 IMG_3560

I often hear people saying they can't afford the latest in beauty products, which means they can't always look their best. There's that worry that if you don't have the most expensive products you won't look as fabulous as someone who can afford it. But that's not the case at all! It's all about finding those bargains and what works well for you, regardless of price. Here are some top tips on how to stay looking fab on a budget:

Budget Beauty Swaps
You don't always have to buy the most expensive thing on the shelf. In fact some of the pricier stuff isn't always as good as some of the cheaper stuff. There are plenty of budget beauty swaps out there that could save you money:

Sudocrem - You ask any older lady that went through the war and they will tell you this. People could't always afford expensive moisturiser back then so everyone used Sudocrem. You'd be surprised at the wonders it can do for your skin; it is for redness and nappy rash after all!

BB Cream - a lot of people are raving about BB and CC creams at the moment. The best thing about these creams are that many of them are dual purpose; some can bronze while others have been developed to brighten and clear your skin up. Along with acting as a foundation of course!

Plain Flour as Dry Shampoo -  Life hack alert! Did you know that you could use plan flour as a dry shampoo? Use a tiny bit to soak up the grease in your roots. Your hair will look fresh and clean again in no time... Or at least for a day anyway!

Coupons and Vouchers
There are ways of getting your hands on some of the most expensive beauty products without spending a fortune. Try and stay on the lookout for coupons and vouchers for your favourite brands and stores. There are dedicated discount websites that will help you find bargains. Read more about the types of vouchers and coupons available. It's also a good idea to set up a newsletter or alert for your favourite stores too; that way you'll be the first to know if they have any flash deals on. You'll be surprised at how much you can save by keeping an eye on the offers!

Have you tried any of these beauty swaps or used coupons to get your hands on your favourite beauty picks? If so let me know how you got on!
